About The Institute

JAI ARIHANT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS has been established by Vidya Pushp Academy Society (Regd.) well known in the field of education since 1998. JAI ARIHANT is envisioned to promote graduate and post-graduate level professional courses to benefit young aspirants of different professional streams. It is one of the few Professionally run institutes that offer a variety of courses Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur & Affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital.

The People, who come in contact with JAI ARIHANT, endorse it as a state-of-the-art institution with a distinctive environment for professional education in various discipline and streams. The culture of the Institute infuses confidence and leadership skills in its students.

The basic motto of JAI ARIHANT is to provide acquisition of knowledge in a rapidly developing & changing society & to continually offer opportunities for upgrading knowledge, training & skills in the context of innovations, research in all the field of human endeavors.

In 2005, the society of JAI ARIHANT has planned out to render the services to society at large by way of providing professional education in the field of Teacher Education and taken a decision to build an Institution at Haldwani.

In the very first year 2005, two courses were introduced

2 Years Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) was started with a intake of 50 students.
1 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) with the intake of 100 students.
These courses were Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE),  Jaipur.

In 2006, with the sincere and dedicated efforts of every individual associated with the Institute two more new courses could be introduced.

PGDCA (P.G. Diploma in Computer Applications)
1 Year Full Time Program - Affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital.

DIT (Diploma in Information Technology)
1 Year Full Time Program - Affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital

In 2007, as a tremendous change in the field of Technology & Media resulting due to globalization and seeing the interest of the people, the Institute catered two new courses

BCA (Bachelor in Computer Applications)

3 Years Full Time Program - Affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital

PGDJMC (P.G. Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication)

1 Year Full Time  Program - Affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital

In 2008, the pace of growth continued and in the session 2008-09, Kumaun University, Nainital has sanctioned the intake of 60 students for BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) - 3 Years Full Time Program. The Institute’s strength has augmented to a new level of heights with the inductions of these courses.

The Institute is located within the city limits on Bareilly – Nainital Highway, and is housed in a superb architectural structure, designed and developed to meet all academic, cultural, personality development and administrative requirements. The Institute is well connected with all parts of the city, is approachable from all directions by public transport system.

Another state-of the- art complex, designed to house various other courses, is on the land having a spread of 2,40,000 sft. on Bareilly Road, Haldwani.
